Vodafone have boosted their 4G data roaming services
Mobile network operator Vodafone have boosted their 4G data roaming capabilities by adding more destinations to businesses and consumers.
Eight new countries have been added to Vodafones' data roaming portfolio, making the service available to customers - regardless of whether they are 4G customers or not.
The new destinations include; Dominican Republic, UAE, Morocco, Kenya and Hungary, being added to the network's 71 existing destinations. These new additions will hopefully help Vodafone compete with rival netwoks; Three mobile currently offer free roaming to all pay as you go (PAYG) and pay monthly customers.
EE are also offering free 4G data roaming to their premium paying customer base on 4GEE Extra plans.
The new service from Vodafone will allow customers to use their bundled calls, texts and data for an additional £3 per day on top of the EuroTraveller, or for an additional £5 on the WorldTraveller service(s) - business customers will pay an extra £6 on top.
