Vodafone launch new 30-day network guarantee
Mobile network operator Vodafone have unveiled a new guarantee that will allow new and upgrading customers to exit a newly started contract within 30 days.
The new guarantee will allow customers to exit a contract within 30-days if they find that they are unhappy with the service that Vodafone is providing. This new initiative will be available to any new and upgrading pay monthly customers who have purchased a contract online, in-store or over the phone.
Vodafone UK CEO Jeroen Hoencamp has commented, "We’ve invested heavily in our network and services over the past few years so we’re now giving our customers the freedom to really test the strength and speed of our network across the UK and, if they’re not totally happy, they can come back to us within 30 days and we’ll cancel their agreement – no questions asked."
This new initiative comes shortly after Ofcom published its Telecoms and Pay TV Complaints Report last month, in which the number of complaints about Vodafone to the communications regulator had risen from 14 per 100,000 customers up to 32 per 100,000 customers over the period of one year.
