Vodafone is hiring 2,100 new UK customer service staff over the next two years
Vodafone is creating 2,100 new customer service jobs throughout the UK.
As part of a £2 billion investment throughout the UK the network operator will create 1,200 new jobs in existing contact centres based in Newark, Stoke, Manchester and Glasgow.
There will also be third-party customer service centres opened in Newcastle, Cardiff and West Scotland creating an additional 900 jobs.
The mobile network operator has stated that it is committed to improving the service UK customers receive over the next three years following a £4 million fine from Ofcom back in 2016 for serious and sustained breaches of consumer protection rules.
Vodafone UK chief executive Nick Jeffery has commented on the new job offerings saying, "These new, skilled roles will make a real difference to our customers."
"Our ambition is to give our customers the best experience possible, providing an outstanding level of service and support as we continue to invest in building the biggest and best network in Britain."
