O2 passes 25 million customer milestone
O2 have announced that they've moved past the 25 million customer milestone.
The mobile network operator added more than 200,000 customers in a three month period, moving past the 25 million customer mark for the first time in Q3 2015 thanks to the addition of 224,000 subscribers.
The network announced that they added 194,000 contract customers onto their customer base, an increase of 5.5 per cent, also added was 30,000 prepay additions during the quarter - due to this O2's mobile base grew by four per cent year-on-year to beyond the 25 million mark.
During Q3 this year O2's total revenue came up 1.2 per cent from a year ago, a total of £1.451 billion, growth that O2 claims is due to it's Refresh proposition.
