Survey suggests most Britons could not live without their mobile phones
Mobile phones are used for all sorts of tasks. Whether playing the latest video game, finding directions to that job interview, or simply calling a friend, many handsets will allow users to fulfil these various roles.
In my case, my phone has become such an important part of my day-to-day routine, I cannot envisage what my life would be like without it – something which I appear to have in common with the majority of Britons.
The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) recently published research which showed 62% of British mobile phone users "struggle to imagine life" without their handsets. Moreover, 59% of UK respondents went one step further and said "they couldn't live" without their devices.
Conducted with the help of research company Crowd DNA, the survey's findings also suggested we are more attached to our mobile phones than Americans and South Koreans.
While these findings are certainly interesting, it does raise a very important question – what would actually happen if these people lost their devices?
Although handsets are very useful, they can be quite fragile. In some cases, even a splash of water can damage one of these gadgets beyond repair. Therefore, someone who struggles to imagine life without their mobile phone may be unable to complete their normal day-to-day routines.
Fortunately, at Tuffphones, we have a wide range of handsets which can withstand all sorts of potential hazards. For more information, why not browse our selection of tough, durable, and waterproof mobile phones?
