Google Reveals New Nexus Devices
Google have just revealed the new additions to their Nexus family - the Nexus 6, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player.
They have also announced that Android Lollipop the latest iteration of their OS is official and that the rumours are true the OS will be named Lollipop, not Lime Pie.
The new Nexus 6 crafted by Motorola will come with a WHOPPING 5.9" Quad-HD (2K) screen which has a 1440 x 2560 display (493 ppi), dual front facing stero speakers and this is all powered by a super fast Snapdragon 805 processor clocking in at 2.7GHz.
The device will also have a 13MP rear facing camera with an f2.0 lens and comes equipped with 32GB of internal storage (a 64GB version is also available), there is no word on a MicroSD Card slot.
This is all powered by a 3,220 mAh battery with the Nexus 6 also being supported by Motorola's Turbo Charger ability which will reportedly get you 6 hours of battery life after only 15 minutes of charging time - amazing!
The Nexus 9 is being manufactured by HTC and has an 8.9" IPS LCD display with the device haveing brushed metal sides and front facing HTC Boomsound speakers, the device is powered by a 2.3 GHz 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, there is an 8 MP rear camera and 1.6 MP front camera - this is all being kept running by a 6700 mAh battery.
The Nexus Player is a collaboration with Asus, is a streaming media player for movies, music, games and videos.
The device is a small streamlined console that has a 1.8GHz Quad Core, Intel Atom CPU plugging away and it also features 802.11ac 2x2 (MIMO) Wi-Fi connectivity.
