Apple took more money than any other smartphone manufacturer in Q1 2015
Popular smartphone manufacturer Apple had raked in 92% of all smartphone industry profits in Q1 2015, an impressive feat as they pulled in 65% of the industrys income last year.
Apple handsets account for less than a fifth of all smartphone sales globally, which makes their profit dominance even more impressive. Apple can attribute their profit dominance to their handset costs, an average iPhone price is around $659, over three times as much as the average $185 price of an Android handset.
Apples success doesn't appear to be stopping any time soon with the hype for the upcoming iPhone 6s already reaching peak levels with 85 - 90 million units already ordered by suppliers worldwide.
